If you are interested in taking your camera off automatic settings and using Aperture & Shutter Priority or Manual settings, this could be the course for you. In this presentation I will discuss the basics of ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed and how they related to each other in the Exposure Triangle. It will help you understand how using these settings can incrementally increase the creativity of your in-camera captures and the genres of photography that benefit from each of them.
I will also cover some of the in-camera settings that will help elevate your photography from shooting in RAW, Focus Modes, Exposure Compensation and Metering modes. I will also discuss how additions like tripods, a remote release and polarising and ND filters can help create more dynamic and interesting images. I will also discuss Depth of Field and what factors affect it as well as how you can calculate it based on your subject distance, focal length and aperture.
This is a workshop that is geared to be conducted over a day or at a retreat but can be tailored into a shorter presentation
