A Grand Traverse of the New Zealand Alps
These images were taken while on ‘The Grand Traverse’ with Air Safari in the South Island of New Zealand. It was a breathtaking experience exploring Aoraki Mount Cook and the spectacular alpine scenery of the Souther Alps. The flight includes looking down on both Franz Josef and Fox glaciers from your very own window seat. It is hard to beat the variety of this alpine scenery, from snowy mountain ranges and turquoise lakes, to epic glaciers and amazing ice fields that flow through West Coast rainforests to the wild Tasman Sea! Various combinations of these images have been awarded in portfolio competitions including at the Siena Drone Awards..
